Tesco Mobile offers 20GB for £20 plus iPhone SE & Samsung S7 Edge discounts

Tesco Mobile have announced price cuts on premium handset contracts, SIM-only deals as well as double data offerings starting today.

New and existing SIM-only users will now getting double data at the same price.

Tesco Mobile are now offering the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with 2GB of monthly data for £35 a month with no upfront cost. Similarly, the virtual network are offering the iPhone SE with 500MB of data for £22.50 per month with no upfront cost. If you want, you can double the data to 1GB per month by paying just £1 extra.

For SIM-only customers, Tesco Mobile are offering as much as 20GB per month for just £20 and 2GB per month for £10 a month until 26th February. New and upgrading SIM-only customers will also get double the data than what they used to get until now. Those going for £10, £12.50, and £15 top-ups will also receive double data with those topping up with £10 getting 1GB of data, 500 minutes and 5000 texts.

The new move is part of a series of steps that Tesco Mobile have implemented over the past year to boost their subscriber base. In June of last year, Tesco Mobile introduced Tesco Xtras to let smartphone users save money on their monthly plans by viewing ads and offers. Tesco Mobile claimed that subscribers of its lowest SIM only tariff rate will be able to save as much as 40 per cent off their monthly bills.

iD Mobile has 500K contract customers; rolling data plans helped!

Tesco Mobile also introduced its international roaming service last year which they named Tesco Mobile Home From Home. The service lets customers enjoy zero roaming charges for more than three months irrespective of whether you are a pay monthly or a pay as you go customer. The list of thirty one countries which are part of Tesco Mobile Home From Home service include France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Greece and Netherlands.

Let’s help our customers and give them a taste of what’s to come," said Simon Groves, chief marketing officer at Tesco Mobile while announcing the service.
